Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026. This policy covers the haven-iq.ca website. Personal information handling for the monitoring service itself is governed by the Terms of Service and your service agreement.
What we collect on this website
Form submissions. When you submit the waitlist or contact form, we collect what you type: name, email, property location and type, and your message. Forms are processed by Netlify, our hosting provider, and delivered to us by email.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate region, device type). IP addresses are anonymized. Analytics loads only after you interact with the page.
Why we collect it
Form data is used to reply to you and, if you join the pilot waitlist, to administer the program. Analytics data is used to improve the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your information for advertising.
Where it lives and how long
Form submissions are stored in our hosting provider's dashboard and our email. We retain inquiries as long as needed to handle them; waitlist entries are retained for the duration of the pilot program. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Third parties
Netlify (hosting and form processing) and Google (analytics) process data on our behalf and may store it outside Canada. We don't share your information with anyone else except as required by law.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent. Write to jamie@haven-iq.ca — that address reaches the founder directly, who is responsible for privacy compliance. If you're unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
